Labeler Alphabet - WWYS87

Are you ready for another stamp set challenge?! Labeler Alphabet is one of the first stamp sets I purchased from the 2016 catalog but never quite got around to using it. It happens to be this weeks What Will You Stamp challenge set. WOOHOO! I finally busted this little guy out and started to play.

When I stamped the letters I wasn't totally happy about the space between each letter. Easy to fix, I trimmed the edge of those stamps down just a tiny bit until I got the equal spacing I was looking for. I'm always looking for that perfect verse or saying. No excuses now. You'll be seeing a lot of this stamp set in the future.

Cookie Cutter Halloween - WWYS86

Yikes! Better a few hours later than never. This weeks What Will You Stamp challenge set is Cookie Cutter Halloween. This is a darling Halloween set that coordinates with the cookie cutter punch! See all the amazing projects on the WWYS blog and play along if you have this set!

My card this week is all about the mummy, gauze and wrapping. I used the seaside textured embossing folder to mimic the wrapping of a mummy. I heat embossed the mesh gauze pattern from Ghoulish Grunge, white on white to enhance the effect. I added just a few tiny specks of silver emboss powder, for a little sparkle, and to match the ribbon. I can't decide if it looks deliberate or just messy.

Halloween Treat stamp is is meanly meant for quick tags that you can add to a treat easily. As they state on the Su website "It's no trick, this stamp is a pure treat. No need to overcomplicate things; this is the quick and easy way to get your Halloween message out there." I decided to use this image for the primary focal point of this card. I inked the stamp with various markers before stamping. The stamp image is also super easy to cut out. I added a cute little Boo Banner at the bottom of the card with images from Mr. Funny Bones.

My fav… pulling out an OLD stamp set from the stash to create a custom background. I played with type to match the background to the primary image using simple watercolor and stamps. Paint and stamp in same color. Easy. Color is Blackberry Bliss.
