HI all! I've been MIA all week. Busy with family and work. Thanks for checking back with me.

I continue to participate in a card swap with my upline team in Utah (Ink Bugs). Above is the card I made for my swap. Below are the many swaps I received in return, all using products from the Saleabration & Occasions Catalogs.

I used the Celebrations Duo bundle of products along with a few other Occasions mini goodies to create my Hello Swap card.  I really enjoyed stamping with this set and can see myself using it often. In fact, I made a couple of other cards to share. Enjoy!

Halloween Treat - Ink Bug Swaps

It's SWAP time. I made Halloween Treat Swaps for my upline team meeting this coming Saturday. Theme: Holiday mini projects swap. Can't wait to see what the team makes.

My Halloween Treat projects ... The card and treat bag topper are essentially the same template. Easy to use for either a treat or a card. The treat includes the ever so yum yum Hershey's Pumpkin Kiss, a must try!

The Halloween Treat stamp has been inked with markers to achieve the multi color look. The ombre effect on the words 'Happy Halloween' and 'Trick or Treat' was achieved using a basic black and a smokey slate Stampin' Write marker. This is a super simple little technique that is easy to do with any two colors.

Quick 2-color watercolor! I stamped the large orange image in Memento Tuxedo black ink onto cold press watercolor paper. I painted a quick wet wash and then dropped in color into those washes. I’ve held onto many word stamp sets over the years, especially ones I designed. The LOVE image I used here comes from the 'Labels to Love' stamp set that was released in 2016-2017. This was a simple card to create. I stamped the LOVE image in multiple colors, punched them out, and arranged them in a grid pattern on the card front. Do you recognize that old tag punch? It's a classic that will never leave my stash—haha! To make the larger greeting, I die-cut the words LOVE and YOU and combined them. I added a bow from a 50-yard spool of black and white baker's twine that is seemingly endless. Want to see what my friends have created using products they could not give up? Me too!
