Hello and welcome to the Animal Outing edition of Stamp Review Crew. Have you seen this darling animal stamp set yet? It's super cute stamp set with a tall giraffe, pudgy rhino and a momma kangaroo warming a baby koala. The sentiments are also darling and great for just about any occasion.

My card also features a texture background from the new Gallery Grunge stamp set. I like how the circle images in this set work well as giraffe spots.

Floral Statements - Global Design Project Color Challenge

My card features the Floral Statements stamp set. The 'Hello' has been stamped in Memento Black ink and then colored with Stampin' Blends. I flicked a little white craft ink onto this image after the fact using a tip I gleaned from Artisan Design team member Sarah Lancaster. That tip can be found on Stampin' Up!'s instagram. Let's SALE-A-BRATE! Heartfelt Blooms - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

I have quite a few reasons to celebrate 2018. A healthy family, a happy home, supportive friends, and a fabulous new stamping experience! Today I am celebrating because this is MY FIRST official global Artisan Design Team Blog post. This is also the the first Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for the 2018 team. Super exciting, a little overwhelming and I won't lie ... a little stressful. The first time doing new things can be intimating.

The free product I am highlighting is this post is the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set.

'Heartfelt Blooms' is the first release of a new type of stamp art called DISTINKTIVE. New Distinktive stamps lay down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth—like a photograph. A light tap in the ink pad goes a long way ...

For this 'Amazing' card I've masked and layered various ink colors to create this multi-colored flower.

The Distinktive stamps look phenomenal stamped in one color! The way this flower stamp laid down ink instantly reminded me a non-silver photography class I took in college where we learned about gum bichromate printing. I love how the flower on this 'Sending Heartfelt Thoughts' card looks like a flat old photograph.

The large flower image from Heartfelt Blooms also creates a beautiful all over pattern when repeatedly stamped. Don't worry about overlapping images, the Distinctive stamp lays ink down well over the previously stamped image edges.

After I created this flower background (in Peekaboo Peach) I placed a sheet a vellum paper over the top to soften the look.

I am in love with these new narrow note cards and envelopes. Are you looking to create the quickest WOW project ever? Stamp the large flower image on each card front in your favorite color. Layer with a stamped message, patterned paper and a little baker's twine. Accent with a pearl or two and you've just created the quickest handmade gift sure to wow.

Flourishing Phrases - these thinlits are everything!

Use your STASH! It's time for another instagram hop where my friends and I created using older products from our crafty stashes. This month our theme is "Holiday Favourites". I love snowglobes, shaker cards, and snowmen, so I paired them all together! This little snowman image is from the 2019 Snowman Season stamp set and he fit perfectly in the snowglobe shape. I had some leftover "snow" puff balls that I used to fill the globe. They are so light and float really well in a shaker card. This is a super simple card design but it was fun to pull out these old (and new again) goodies. I can't wait to see what old Holiday goodies my friends pulled out for this challenge. I’m all about these reversible stamps lately. So easy to add full quick color. Stamp, flip, stamp. I made this cozy sweater card using Calypso Coral, Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green. I’m liking the look of a pastel Autumn. 🍂 #gdp521 The leaf and flower shapes were first colored on white using markers and then die cut. I made this card using the cutest cut outs from the North Pole Delivery papers. These are awesome for quick cards. I want 100 of the dog images. So cute!
