Family day at the MFA

We are so lucky to live so close to a quality Museum. We spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon roaming around the MFA as a family and being inspired. Nicholas is a ham. Andrew and Ben are troopers.

Just for funsies ... I went a little Pencil CRAZY on this 'love you' card. I stamped and colored each pencil 20 times!!! I find the process of stamping is so rewarding, starting from blank paper and creating THIS! Simple yet not. See out how this car

Hello friends, you sure are sweet! This watermelon card follows the #gdp430 sketch challenge (swipe to see sketch). I stamped the watermelon and used a blending brush to smooth out the ink for a better impression. You can see how I achieved this look
